We're looking for a dedicated and experienced Head of Operations to join our team in Kathmandu, Nepal. In this key leadership role, you'll work directly with our co-founders to lead and grow all aspects of our business. Key Requirements / Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field. An MBA is a plus.
At least 3 years in a senior management position, with experience managing operations and production departments.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledgeable about production, inventory, retail, and pricing strategy.
Ability to develop and execute effective communications and inspire a team to achieve ambitious goals.
Genuinely passionate about our mission of supporting artisans and promoting ethical fashion.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage teams, including operations and inventory, making sure they're all working together efficiently.
Work closely with our production team to ensure fair practices, coordinate production schedules, quality check of a product, sampling, product finalising, approval of production and manage the flow of our products from the order sheet approval from our senior management to our warehouse.
Responsible for managing all inventory processes—from receiving products to tracking stock and ensuring our warehouse is organised.
Oversee order fulfilment, including packaging and coordinating with both domestic and international shipping partners.
Oversee all our stores. This includes visiting our main stores weekly and our partner stores monthly to check on operations, ensure visual standards are met, and conduct a monthly stock check.
Responsible for developing and implementing our pricing strategy, ensuring our products are competitively priced while maintaining profitability and reflecting our brand's values.
Representative, building and maintaining gaps and strong relationships with everyone from our artisans to our customers and from senior management to employees, vice versa.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in the Nepali retail and fashion industry.
Knowledge of local regulations and business practices.
