The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for guests and visitors. They are responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing reservations, handling guest check-ins and check-outs, and ensuring smooth daily operations at the front desk.
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
- Handle check-in and check-out procedures efficiently
- Manage room reservations, cancellations, and modifications using property management software
- Answer and direct phone calls and emails in a timely manner
- Provide accurate information about the hotel, services, local attractions, and transportation
- Maintain a neat and organized front desk area
- Handle guest complaints or issues with patience and professionalism
- Communicate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Manage cash and process payments accurately
- Ensure security protocols are followed for guest information and room access
